Style your 'Out of Stock' products differently to the rest of your products in each category. Or perhaps just not display them at all.

This neat little mod allows you to control the entire product row of each product listed in the category pages (viewCats.tpl), which includes the search results. The actual product details page is not affected, therefore can be referenced directly. If the product is on the front page Latest Products list, it is still displayed, and accessible.

This affects only the product lists in each category.

Ideal for those who:

• would like to give out of stock products a slightly different background (for example)
• or would like to change font colours of out of stock items
• or would like to give each row a slightly different design

In the screenshot above, yellow was used as an example to show the scope of the modification. We cannot condon the use of such a bright yellow in a live store ;-)
