Skins

When customising a shipped Legend, Killer or Classic skin, it is important to change the name of the skin directory and reselect it in Admin. This will ensure that when it comes to upgrade time, you do not accidentally overwrite your customised version with the version from the new release of CubeCart.

Modifications

Always keep a record of the mods you have installed in your store. It will come in very handy when it comes to upgrading CubeCart.

Before altering any CubeCart code, always take a backup copy of the files (and/or database) you are changing. If something goes wrong, you will be grateful you took the time to make the backups.
