Force Selection of Product Options
Mod Version: 1.0 Mod License: Commercial: per Web Server Installation Cost: $14.95 About the Author: I am a long time member of the CubeCart community, writing mods since 2005! View my feedback Description: This mod will allow you to make sure your customers choose from the available product options (size, colour, etc). The mod adds a "Please select..." option as the default choice in each drop down list of product options. A javascript popup warning will display a clear concise message if a customer attempts to add a product to their cart without selecting product options. (Try out our online demo to see this mod in action!) Notes: A possible future feature of this mod is to allow you to specify which product options this mod will effect. This new feature would mean that only some of your product options would have the new "Please select..." option at the top of the drop down list. So for example you could configure product options like Colour and Size to have a "Please select..." option and require a valid selection, but other product options such as Gift Wrapping would be left as normal. If this is a feature you want, let us know! Integration: This mod is fully integrated with our new Product Accessories mod. Hi Estelle
Is there anyway to get this mod working with the "Custom Add to Cart Message" mod from Anthony? I have also posted in Anthony's thread regarding a solution, i believe someone else has too. Thanks Chris |
