You really should try out the demo for this one!!

If you're unsure whether this shipping module will work for you, please contact me and provide full details of what you need.

Description:

This shipping module is extremely flexible. It allows unlimited shipping zones, unlimited shipping methods, and unlimited shipping rates.

The shipping zones can be based on countries and states/provinces. If you need to setup shipping zones based on postal code regions please see All In One Shipping with Postcodes.

It allows you to enter whatever you want for your shipping method names, e.g. "Regular Shipping (4-5 days)", "Express Shipping (1 day)", "First Class", "USPS", "UPS" etc (note that these are just descriptions -- this module does NOT get live shipping rates from USPS or any other shipping company).

It allows you to create shipping rates which depend on the weight of the order, e.g. $3.00 for 0-1kg, $4.50 for 1-2kg, etc. It allows you to create shipping rates which depend on the value of the order, e.g. free shipping for orders over $75. It allows you to create shipping rates which depend on the number of items, e.g. $3.00 per item for the first 3 items, then $1.00 per item for each additional item. And it allows you to use ANY MIX of these! (To see the full complexity of ways in which you can setup your shipping rates, try out the demo and tick ALL of the checkboxes within the settings at the top - but please return the settings to normal when you are done!)

Your shipping rates can be setup incredibly quickly, the Admin area has been improved in all areas and lots of javascript code allows you to edit, insert or delete any of the shipping rates (for a single zone) without reloading the page!

Very friendly user interface. If you mark a shipping rate for deletion, or edit a shipping rate, then change your mind, you can even undo these individual changes by clicking the "undo" button (green curly arrow in the image below) as long as you have not yet clicked the "Save Changes" button.

Shipping modules are independent. Each shipping module will do its own calculations and come up with zero, one, or more shipping choices. The shipping choices from any enabled shipping modules are then all presented to the customer.

So yes, this shipping module will work with other shipping modules, but the shipping costs won't be combined in any way, the shipping costs will be displayed separately.

Feel free to try out the demo.

Purchased and working fine. However, modifing the language file (from admin panel) does'nt change anything (no problem, I can edit the file directly ) Another problem is that the shipping calculation seems to be proportional, but post office doesn't charge me this way.....they charge by each 10grams or 500 grams base of different shipping method (Regular Air / Express )

Anyway, this mod saved me lots of time. Great Works, Thanks!!

Yes, this module can be used by stores in any country.

There is an online demo that you can try out. Its very flexible which also means that some people may find it a little complicated at first, but I'm here to answer any questions anyone may have.

Many shipping companies charge flat rate prices for different weight bands, e.g. 0 to 0.5 kg is $2.50, 0.5 kg to 1.0 kg is $4.50, etc. This module handles this shipping configuration, along with many others.

@core - In your case a little maths will do the trick. If your shipping company charges $X per 10 grams, then you simply need to convert this to a price per kilogram. So if the price per 10 grams is 0.15, then the price per 1000 grams is 15.00. (Note to others: This mod will use kilograms or pounds depending on your store configuration)

I have a customer using V3 with a complex shipping module this is the spec will your mod handle this?

Our Store has 1 shipping Activity based on Shipping by Weight, however, our shipping process is handled in two ways within this module.

1. [Shipping Upcharge], this is a field added to the product entry screen if products are ordered that have a [Shipping Upcharge] then the highest product [Shipping Upcharge] value is taken with each subsequent item being applied based on a new field [Per Item]
2. All other items in Cubecart are based on product weight.

A check box is included in the Shipping module that if checked add the Weighed products cost to the total [Shipping Upcharge] Cost.

Product Entry
Add New Field [Shipping Upcharge]

Shipping by Weight
Add New Field [Per Item]
Add New Field [Weighed Items to Shipping Upcharge] Checkbox
Add New Field [
Add New Field [Premium Postcodes] comma Seperated
Add New Field [Premium Rate 1] Calculated based on Shipping Upcharge
Add New Field [Premium Rate 2] Calculated based on Weighed items

The Logic
Carriage is handled in two different ways.

Using the [Shipping Upcharge] value the product is calculated on a per product basis. If more then one product is purchased then the highest [Shipping Upcharge] is applied with the second product being added to the first product based of the [Per item] cost.

Example:
Product 1 has a [Shipping Upcharge] of £35 carriage charged is £35

Product 1 has a [Shipping Upcharge] of £35
Product 2 has a [Shipping Upcharge] of £55 carriage charged is £65 Being £55 + [Per Item] £10

If no [Shipping Upcharge] then the product is calculated based on weight per item

If checkbox [Weighed Items to Shipping Upcharge] is ticked then the sum total of all weighed products is added to the sum total of all [Shipping Upcharge] products.

Premium Postcodes

The comma separated field identifies the first to characters of the postcode if the customer is within the Zone and a premium postcode then Premium rate 1 is applied to the Shipping Upcharge value if applicable and Premium rate 2 is applied to the weighed items if applicable.

This is the same for all Zones.

If the country is not ins the shipping list the order should not be allowed to be processed and the basket contents Emailed to us for consideration.

Hi Estelle - thanks for this. It does look v. good indeed.

One query - Does it still require a visitor to register before displaying shipping rates in checkout? Can it request or detect the shipping destination before registration or has that missing aspect been addressed in CC4 in any case?

Thanks for the reply, however....

Post office charge us by each 500 grams.
For example, if shipping to country A takes USD5 per 500 gram

The shipping fee charged by this mod, would be USD51
However actual postage fee we paid is : USD55

I know that we can define the weight like 0.1~0.5 USD5, 0.6~1.0 USD10
However....we have more than 40 zones, 3 shipping method and we have no limitation on shipping weight, but usually mazimum is 50Kgs, so..............this could make 1200 entries.....
If there could be a way to define this "500 gram" , will be very very helpful....

I am looking to be able to do something similar to the following:

Vendor A charges based on the cost of the item and the zone, and if the total cost is below a given level then a handling fee will be added. An example is if a customer orders $56 and lives in US Zip code 22911 then it is considered zone 7, or 27% of my cost of $40 to ship it. Since it is above $30 no handling fee would be added. Yet, if they only ordered $35 worth of products then it would cost me $25, and I would have to add a $3 handling fee since it is below the $30 cutoff. Anything ordered from this vendor incurs at least a $10 s&h fee, so if the customer ordered a $2.80 product from me they would have to pay $10 in s&h, even if everything else adds up to be less (my cost for item would be $2, so would be ($2 * .27) + $3 handling fee = $3.54, which doesn't meet the $10 min).

Vendor B charges a shipping fee based on the item, and a processing fee that can range from nothing up to $5 per manufacture. I would just add the processing fee to my cost, and not worry about that. Yet each item would need to have it's shipping fee stored with it, and then pulled by the "All In One" shipping module. Would anything like this be possible? I could fake things by setting a weight to equal the shipping fee for each product, and charge a dollar per pound/kilogram, yet if a customer calls for a custom quote this could prove to be a problem.

Vendor C is rather straight forward. In it's simplest form it is $1 * weight (in lbs) + $4, round up to the next whole dollar (i.e., $4.39 would be round up to $5).

Would All In One be able to handle at least 2 of the 3 Vendors listed above?

OK

For shipping I want to have these as my options : for customers buying one item they pay a postage charge of £x.xx or they can upgrade it to next day courier delivery of £y.yy

For customers buying 2 or more items the only option is next day courier delivery of £y.yy

Can this be handled with this mod, excuse me if this is a silly question but new to this and trying to get my head round everything ...

@Captain Bags - CubeCart 4 does not try to calculate shipping until step2 is reached (when the delivery address is known).

@core - My shipping module does allow you to setup the shipping rates you require, but since your shipping needs are complicated there is no easy way to set them up. You could ask within the forums if anyone is available to write a custom shipping module specific to your needs.

@awevtrading - No for Vendor A (zones can currently only be setup based on countries and states, not zipcodes). For Vendor B it sounds like you just need to setup a unique shipping price for each of your products... this is not possible with this mod but I will be releasing another mod to handle this. Yes for Vendor C however it doesn't do rounding so you will need to setup a flat rate price for each weight range, e.g. 0 - 1 lb is $5, 1 - 2 lb is $6, etc.

@skintrader - It would be possible to set this up if you set the weight of all of your products to be 1 kg (or 1 lb). Contact me via my store if you want more info.

Thanks for the reply.

For Vendor B I will look for your release of the new module. Should I just check your site/store every so often, or will you announce it on the forums here?

For Vendor C they state that a little bit of a hedge is built in to their suggestion on shipping, so rounding would be nice, not essential. I think I could afford to lose a half dollar on one sale and regain it on another, in shipping and handling charges.

I would also be very interested in a mod that could calculate shipping almost exactly like what awevtrading has said. I have a bunch of vendors, each with their own shipping policies.

Some are by weight/zone (I could live with 'states' instead of zip codes), some are by weight & are zone independent, then there are the ones per item and the ones per item calculated by percentage of price. And then there are the ones with free shipping.

I have been trying to come up with a basic unified policy, but as you can imagine it's a major headache! Either I'm losing money or the customer's losing money, and neither one is right. smile.gif

It looks like this mod can't handle someone buying, say, one thing each from 2 or 3 different vendors and portraying the actual shipping cost?
