Note that the images DON'T switch automatically, they are not constantly changing. The images switch when the customer clicks on one of the thumbnails.


This mod will show all of the images that you have linked to a product as thumbnails in a row underneath the main image. When the user clicks on one of the thumbnails, the full size version of the image will be shown in place of the main image, using Javascript.

New features (these features were not in the CC3 version of this mod)

• Images are preloaded so that they are displayed much more quickly. (Preloading of the images is done after the page is displayed and before the customer clicks on the thumbnail links)
• "Fixed height" feature means that extra space is added around the image, where necessary, so that the main product image and all additional images can be displayed without shifting the page contents below it
• Both of these new features can be easily enabled/disabled within the settings for the mod.

• No need for a distracting popup window or Lightbox effect.

Hi estelle

I have purchased product images with java script for version 3 of cubecart, do i need to pay for this upgrade to version 4? also is it possible to use the version 3 mod with cubecart4?

Actually, I remember reading something on your website when i purchased product images with java script for cubecartcart 3, your website stated that any upgrades to the product were FREE or something similar was written.

Is that still valid?

If it was possible to maintain a single mod that worked for both versions, then it would be the case. But CubeCart has undergone major changes between version 3 and version 4 and because of this each CC4 mod needs to be maintained as a separate product from the CC3 mod. Each new CC4 mod is initially based on CC3 mod but has to have large parts of the code re-written, re-tested, new installation instructions created, then support will have to be provided for any new bugs or mistakes made during installations, etc. I am also adding improvements and new features to many of the new mods that I am releasing for CC4.

For most mods I will be offering a discount of 50% if you have purchased a license for the CC3 mod and wish to exchange it for a license for the CC4 mod.

The most up to date version of each CC3 mod is provided free of charge to license holders, and similarly for each CC4 mod in my store.
