This mod is most useful for stores that use the Print Order Form gateway, or any other 3rd party payment gateways that require manual processing.

The mod will allow your store to automatically send an order confirmation email to the customer. This email is configurable within a language file. You can also configure information to be added to the emails depending on which payment gateway is used, here are some examples:

• "Please post money order to..."
  
• "We will contact you to get your credit card details."
  
• "Please deposit money into the following account...."

Fully compatible with Coupon Manager and Coupon/Giftcard mods. Full support for stores with multiple languages.

Hi Estelle!

I have purshased this super mod from you yesterday! It was very simple to install it too but it seems I'm stuck at configurating the lang_customer_order_conf_email.inc file.)

When I was testing to order sg it has sent an empty order confirmation email with the order noumber in the subject.

Then I have deleted this line(by the holy instructions) : " /* TO ENABLE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR GATEWAY 1: REMOVE THIS LINE THEN CUSTOMIZE BELOW" but the emails were still empty...

My stores default language is slovakian, is that matters? because I was thinking that this might be the source of the problem...

My tip is that the language/sk/config.inc.php needs the same modification as the "english" config.inc.php, and that's all...

but rather I wait for your answer!

To install to multi-lingual stores, or stores where the default language is something other than English, follow these two steps:

1. Locate this file in the 'New Files' folder:
language/en/lang_customer_order_conf_email.inc.php

This file must also be uploaded to any other language directories that you use, e.g.
language/sk/lang_customer_order_conf_email.inc.php

2. Also the change to language/en/config.inc.php as explained in modify_existing_files.html must also be applied to your other language config files e.g. language/sk/config.inc.php

After you have successfully completed the above two steps your order confirmation email will NOT be empty.


If you want to setup payment instructions...

EDIT within this file:
language/XX/lang_customer_order_conf_email.inc.php

DELETE this line:

Hi Estelle,

I would like to purchase this mod but I have a question first.

I would like to use this mod to only send out emails when the order has been confirmed by Paypal IPN as having been paid, i.e. when its status is PROCESSING rather than PENDING. Is that possible, please?

If so then it would be very useful to me, as sometimes the customer gets an ORDER FAILED message despite the fact that it has gone through, and I would like this email to confirm that the order is indeed paid for and being processed. Or would the timing still be out, so no email would get sent?

@owen - CubeCart already sends out emails when the order status is PROCESSING. If you setup PayPal IPN correctly, your orders will automatically be set to PROCESSING when payment is received.

This mod is only needed when you have gateways that don't change the order to PROCESSING... for these gateways this mod is useful because it sends out an email when the order status is PENDING.

Having done a test order to confirm, no email is sent via my cubecart website when an order is placed? The order status correctly displays 'processing', but no order confirmation email is sent out at any time via cubecart. The only confirmation received by my customers are from the paypal payment. Could you advise if there is a setting within cubecart to turn this on/off?

but
i want to create a single line of text in the email that contains the total amount and the order number

how do i generate a line of text with these field input into the line of text (no spaces)
the line of text will be the same but i just want the total amount and order number info for that specific customet

i tried numerous ways and got nowhere kept getting errors and i think maybe a different method is needed to what i was trying

i want that to appear on the email as just one line with no spaces

i purchased the custom order confirmation email from you about a month back
oh sorry congratulations on your wedding i hope you had a lovely time and a lucky future togther

right i have the confirmation email
but as i now have this i do not want the print order form to appear after the customer has placed an order, as all payment details are included in the email

i want, instead of the order form appearing, i simply want it to redirect to a document page stating thank you for your order please check your email inbox etc.

i know this is a simple redirect, but please can you tell me where i would need to place the redirect, so that after the customer has placed order the print order form does not appear and they are redirected to the webpage i want displayed

any help will be greatly appreciated
