This CubeCart mod will allow you to quickly record shipping tracking numbers and send them to your customers.

It is compatible with any shipping company. Latest version of the mod supports stores that ship with multiple shipping companies (up to three different shipping companies) and allows you to easily send the customer an email with the tracking information for their shipment.

Allows you to enter a shipping tracking number into Admin (where you enter the shipping date). This tracking number is then displayed to the customer, along with the shipping date, within the Order History area of their account.

If you use one UPS, FedEx or USPS, the shipping tracking number will automatically link to the page on the shipping companies website that displays full details about the status of the shipment.

Recent versions of this mod allows you to email the tracking number to your customers with the click of a button! If you have an older version of the mod that doesn't have the new 'Email to customer' checkbox, contact me to get the latest version.



Bug fix: This mod has also been updated to fix an error during installation. If you install this mod and see an error "Table CubeCart_order_sum doesn't exist!" within Admin -> 3rd Party -> Shipping Tracking Numbers... please contact me to get the latest version of the mod.

does this work now on version 4? im confused with the tracking field in version 4. how does it work for say usps tracking #'s?

@blademaster - No, this is for CubeCart 3 only. I have not tried using the tracking number functionality in CubeCart 4.

@sachie - It works with any shipping company. The only difference is that the tracking number will be displayed to the customer as plain text, rather than a link to the tracking information page at your shipping company's website... however the mod comes with instructions that explain how to adjust it for different shipping companies. I also offer customization services if you need my assistance.

I am interested in purchasing this Mod and I have a few of questions:

1. Is the image shown in post #1 a copy of the email that customers receive?
2. When you say that it comes with instruction of how to update for use with other Shipping companies - do you mean how to make clickable tracking numbers or just how to change the names of the shipping drop downs in the lang file?
3. It appears that this allows admin to send an html email confirmation with tracking - can the email be restyled (by me)?
4. What factors limit ones ability to create a clickable tracking number (assuming it is not one of the 'standard' companies mentioned)?

It would be a nice mod to upgrade the very limited v4 tracking email, as it is not clickable, etc.

@boosters - Yes you can customize the names of the shipping companies. To use a different shipping company just rename "Custom (1)" in the language file (language/XX/lang_shipping_tracking_numbers.inc.php).

@jimlita - 1. No, HTML emails are not send. The first screenshot shows the View Order page within the customer account area.
2. Instructions are provided explaining how to change the names of the shipping options, and how to customize the plain text message that is emailed to the customer with the tracking number. Instructions are NOT provided on how to make a clickable tracking number within the customer's View Order area... this requires an understanding of HTML.
3. No, there is no HTML email. Please see me second screenshot, it is the plain text 'Order Status Change' email that is sent, and the message box is automatically populated with a message and the customer's tracking number.
4. Making a clickable tracking number will depend on the shipping company you use (in some cases it may not be possible), you will need a good understanding of HTML or you can hire me to set it up for you.
