Becoming a Commercial Contributor What is a Commercial Contributor?
A member who is permitted to be commercially active at CubeCartForums.org, ie take payment for products and services. Commercial Contributors often have stores where hosting, skins and mods can be purchased, or can provide custom work as required. Many Commercial members also help out in the forum offering their expertise free of charge.
Can I offer my help in the forum without subscribing to Commercial Contributor status?
Yes you can, but you are not permitted to take payment for your services.
How can this be enforced? I mean, you cannot prevent me sending a Personal Message or emailing other members outside of the forum?
This is true, however you risk being banned from the forum for not adhering to our rules. We operate a strict policy on members breaking our Commercial Contributor status requirement rules, which are in place to protect our members from rogue traders. And for the sake of a small fee, it's really not worth the risk.
Why is there a fee for becoming a Commercial Contributor?
In order to continue growing and promoting the services this site offers the CubeCart community, we must continue to invest both time and money into maintaining the site. Therefore we charge Commercial Contributors a fee to cover expenses, advertising, future projects, and time it takes to keep the site up to date. This in turn helps Commercial Contributors with more business opportunities.

How do I become a Commercial Contributor?
First of all, you need to be eligible for 'Contributor' status, which entails submitting a free mod or skin to the site download system. The free mod or skin must be of value to the community upon download, and not part of a commercial service. The purpose of this it to give something to the community to help build the free downloads available which attracts more members.
Please note you will be responsible for supporting all mods and skins submitted to the site downloads, and posted in the commercial forums. You may then subscribe to Commercial Status. A Moderator or Administrator will be in contact with you if you have not satisfied the requirements of becoming a 'Contributor', or your mod or skin is not sufficient as your free submission for Commercial status. You will not be allowed to act commercially until the free product requirement is met. How much does it cost?
